A block-based writing tool for organizing and presenting your content. Write in blocks - each block is a self-contained chunk of your document. Rearrange, tag, and hide blocks to organize your thoughts.
📝 Blocks
- Each block is a piece of your document
- Write in Markdown format - see the Markdown Help (ⓘ) for syntax
- Drag to reorder (desktop) or use ↑↓ arrows (mobile)
- Cmd/Ctrl+Enter creates a new block
- Click the × in the list to delete a block, it changes to a trash can, click again to delete it
- Split - Type
<# split #> anywhere in a block, then choose ✂️ Process Splits from the menu to break it into separate blocks at each marker
- Undo/Redo - Use the ↶ / ↷ buttons to step back and forward through changes
- Multi-select (desktop) - Cmd/Ctrl+click to select multiple blocks, Shift+click for a range, then drag them together
- Images - Attach images to a block via 🖼 Add image in the ⋯ menu, or paste an image into the block. Thumbnails appear under the block; click a thumbnail's placement label to cycle caption / below / left / right / full
🏷️ Tags
- Add tags to organize blocks (e.g., "slide", "scripture", "intro")
- Filter by tags to focus on specific content
- Tag a block "hide" (or "hidden" / "exclude") to leave it out of word counts and exports
- Delete the "hide" tag to show it and include it again
📊 Stats
- Track words, reading time, and speaking time
- "Prior" shows cumulative time up to current block (great for pacing)
- Tap the time to switch between slow/avg/fast reading speeds
👁️ View Modes
- Preview - See your markdown rendered
- Focus - Larger text, one block at a time. Great for laptop usage
- Present - Full-screen, one block at a time with word/time HUD. Arrow keys or click to advance, Esc to exit. Respects tag filters and hidden blocks
- Read Mode (mobile) - Scroll through without keyboard
📤 Export
- Markdown - Full document with tags preserved
- Word Doc - Formatted .docx file
- Slides - Blocks tagged "slide" become PowerPoint slides; attached images are placed on the slide per their placement

- ✂️ Process Splits - Break blocks apart at every

- Sort Alpha ↑ / ↓ - Reorder blocks alphabetically (ascending or descending)
- 📥 Import - Bring in a Markdown or Word Doc file as blocks
- 🕒 Version History - Browse and restore earlier saved versions of the document
🎨 Appearance
- Themes - Pick from Dark, Gray, and Light color sets in the Theme menu. Saved per document
- Font size - Use A− / A+ to make the writing area, preview, and read view text larger or smaller (click the % to reset). Saved per document
- Line spacing - Roomy puts a gap between paragraphs; Tight keeps lines close
💾 Sync & Documents
- Documents are auto-saved to the cloud
- Access from any device
- Click the document name to switch documents, create new ones, or rename existing ones
